Semavermaflora

From 2speccers2tools wiki

To take advantage of their new chloroplasts, a group of Vorelight Semavermis have become sessile and opaque, rooting themselves to the ground. They no longer act as one organism, instead, individual cells will go out to gather energy and nutrients for the rest of the colony. The limbs outside of the ground are extended and flat to help gather as much light as possible, while ones in the ground are reduced, as they serve little purpose but for better anchoring. They use spite once again as a defense mechanism against other species in their area.
