Nomweed

After some Driernom spores were thrown off to Oofle by the wind, they found themselves in a habitat that was much moister than their homeland, so they got big. Nomweed has a primitive vascular system, using a simple hydraulic ‘heart’ to push water around its body to fight off the force of gravity, allowing it to get taller, and with the ability to photosynthesize yellow light, they dominate the forest floor in vast carpets, forming a new issue for microfauna in the jungles and forests. Who now have to navigate a dense jungle of blue rather than a flat dirty plain with some leaf litter.
