This population of arctic legobox has made some major developments that allow it to have a more active animal lifestyle. it has gained four legs derived from its lid, which are able to slowly walk across the marine snow of the deep. it has many cilia lining what can now be called its upper lip, creating a grabbing mustache that is able to sweep detritus and cells into its mouth. it has also developed two photoreceptors that allow it to easily detect the glow emitted by radiodurus descendants, which allow it to easily maneuver and gobble up its favorite radioactive snack. their inner wall has thickened and they have developed a short "cheek" to prevent their face from falling off, which it occasionally does.

their reproduction has changed as well. their spores have become haploid gametes which they squirt out of their 4 upper corners when they encounter another of their kind.
