The lego cell joint parts have all the same adaptations as their ancestor but instead come in two varieties:the clamp and knob part. They form a symbiotic relationship with their ancestor by providing joints to attach appendages to allowing the colonies to become a formidable force. They don’t share all their innards with their encestar, such as the nucleus because that would corrupt the genes of the cell parts.
