Fusionsorbus

Fusionsorbus seems oddly familiar... but anyway, it has developed a simple eye so it can bask in the sunlight (fusion is helped somewhat by heat), the main body cells are large, but the flagella are actually chains of smaller cells, like their ancestor they glow radioactively, though once again this is not enough to cause any DNA damage in other organisms.
