A group of Cubic Semacorals began settling in warmer, more shallow areas, as well as forming larger colonies due to some new developments, eventually resulting in the Cobblecoral. They have started forming the base of reefs, being very common in certain areas, and even allow other organisms to grow on them, even members of their own species, and their ancestor. Their roots no longer just go into the ground, but they also breach their shells to extract nutrients from the water, which results in them rarely consuming organic matter. This allows them to form much larger colonies than their ancestor, especially when entirely different colonies fuse with them, allowing for the base of reefs of which other creatures could grow on and around. They resemble a wall of minecraft cobblestone, hence their name, and have shells of varying thickness and density, which their roots are always ahead of.
